Dps-mis Investiture Ceremony Senior School
The DPS-MIS conducted its Senior School Investiture Ceremony in which the students of  11 and 12 were inducted into the prefectorial body of 2012-2013, at Holiday Villa, Emeralds Hall on 4-6-2012. The ceremony was encompassed by the  chief guest Mr. Anil Nautiyal, the Second Secretary (Labour)  and HOC to the Embassy of India, Qatar, the President of the school management, Mr. Hassan Chougule, members of the Executive Management Council,  teachers, parents and  students.
Amar of class VII-B presented the prayer from the few verses of The Holy Quran and Ayesha of class VIII-D rendered in English. The President of the school management, Mr. Hassan Chougule congratulated the children. The school Principal, Ms. Asna Nafees, appreciated the teachers as a main contributing factor for not only the children’s X and XII exam results, but for all the laurels the school achieved in the past. She added that the prefectorial board members were elected by casting votes in a democratic way. This was followed in a befitting manner where the chief guest, Mr. Anil Nautiyal, decorated the sashes on the members of student council. Then came the solemn most anticipated moment, where the young    Parliamentarians took the Oath of office whereby they declared and vowed to abide by the school rules and fulfil their duties according to their respective portfolios to the best of their abilities. Later, the chief guest, Mr. Anil Nautiyal, highlighted the importance of academics and training to achieve excellence. He cited the example of the super 30 in Bihar. Later, the newly appointed Head Boy, Aditya Vinayak Chaturvedi and the Head Girl, Ann Susan Abraham,  addressed the gathering where they thanked the school and the teachers for providing them everything. The programme was enhanced by a semi-classical dance performance by students of Grade 7 and a music recital by the middle school choir.The vote of thanks was rendered by the duo, Amrutha and Parag of class VIII-C.The function was anchored by the duo, Anupama Menon and Samvedya Girish of Class X.
